Apex or pent: which roof should you choose?
Choose apex when the shed stands in open ground and you want maximum headroom. The central ridge clears most adults at the doorway. Choose pent when the shed sits against a wall or fence, because the single slope fits flat under an eave. Both Power ranges share the same timber, staging and glazing, so the roof is the main decision.

Do you need planning permission?

Matt's installation tip
Build the shed on a firm, level base. Paving slabs, a timber frame or a concrete pad all work, and a level base stops the door binding later. We position the door panel during assembly, so decide which end suits your access before you start. Re-treat the timber every couple of years to protect the dip-treated finish through British winters.
